Capital Goes Paperless
Capital has been growing and we couldn’t be happier to be sharing this achievement with all of you! With every purchase you guys make at Capital, you are automatically given a temporary Capital membership card. It's the black paper card we hand out together with the free shoe cleaning coupon.
More and more people are copping sneakers from Capital which also means we’re handing these little paper cards in the bunches!
We’ve recognized that this isn’t the most sustainable thing for our environment. It looks really cool in hand, but we’re after reducing our environmental footprint as much as possible. We’d like to do better in this aspect which is why beginning this week, we are no longer issuing temporary Capital membership cards. Instead, we’ll be stamping your Capital Loyalty Number on the back of your receipt. This is how it's going to look like.
You might be worried about your points and how our staff will know to which membership the points will be credited to. Don’t fret as we’ve made it easy! Just take a photo of your Capital Loyalty Number and present it upon purchase. No need to keep all those receipts in your wallets!
You can also just present your name, mobile number or CLP number upon purchase. We can track your points with just these information. It’s important that you provide us with complete and accurate details so we can properly track your membership and inform you of exclusive promos and freebies!
Also, we'll be doing away with the plastic Capital Black Cards as soon as we've gone through our remaining supply. This means that once you’ve accumulated 100 points or 20,000 in purchases, you’ll be receiving a digital CLP Black Card in place of the traditional plastic card. This will bear your name as well as your CLP number. This also unlocks a whole world of perks you can enjoy at Capital albeit in digital form ;)
We hope that through this little conscious decision of ours, we were able to inspire you to re-evaluate your own actions. It’s these seemingly minute individual acts that, when multiplied, create the most profound effects in our community.
From everyone at Capital, we’d like to thank you for your continued support and love.
