GENERATIONS OF AIR : Air Max 270
To Air Max fans, the progression of this proprietary cushioning setup has been a joy to watch out for throughout the years. Every year, Nike introduces a new successor in this storied franchise. The Air Max 270, the key silhouette for Air in 2018, combined elements from the Air Max 93 and Air Max 180 to present what the future of Air looked like. Needless to say, as proven by the countless pairs of AM 270s walking around, the people like where Air is going.
AIR MAXED : Air Max 200
The side-vis Air unit was what started the entire Air lineage. Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Max 1 with the goal of showcasing technology that people felt and experienced whenever they put on their Air Maxes. Nike takes that idea a step further with the Air Max 200. Inspired by the goal of taking visible AIR to new spaces, the Air Max 200’s new side-vis Air unit provides 200% more Air compared to traditional Air cushioning setups. More Air for everyone!
AIR MADE COMFIER : Air Max 270 React
What happens when tried-and-tested Air Max gets married to the bouncy and durable React foam? We can’t help but feel that on our feet just by reading those words. Now imagine walking in a pair, that has to be the pinnacle of Air. Luckily for you Nike created the Air Max 270 React which answers all your sneaker prayers.
BIGGER AND BETTER AIR : Air Max 720
When the Air Max 270 came out, everyone thought that that has got to be the final iteration of Nike’s storied cushioning. The tallest Air unit had just been created. What else was there to do? Faced with a challenge, Nike went ahead and worked even harder to top the tallest Air unit yet.
The result came in the fun and funky Air Max 720. The Air on this sneaker looks out-of-this-world and for good reason. Call it crazy, but we’re sure the Air Max 720 is comfy!
